Congress Bharat Jodo Yatra: Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi has reached Banihal in Jammu and Kashmir. After reaching here, this journey was banned. The Congress has also disclosed the reasons behind the ban on this yatra. Congress has said that the yatra was stopped because proper security was not provided and traveling without security is not free from danger. Rahul Gandhi is holding a press conference regarding this matter.
Regarding security, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that there has been a serious security breach in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said, “There has been a serious security breach during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Banihal, Kashmir. There was a sudden withdrawal of security personnel from the D-Area. Who gave this order? He also said that the responsible officials should answer for this lapse and take appropriate steps to prevent such incidents in future.

On this matter, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that Rahul Gandhi will address the media in Anantnag at 2:30 pm this morning on the serious security lapse in Qazigund, due to which he was forced to change his plans at the last moment.

At the same time, Congress in-charge of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh Rajni Patil has said that the Jammu-Kashmir administration has failed to provide security to the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi. The security lapse indicates the inappropriate and unprepared attitude of the Union Territory Administration.
