Australia News Today: When a woman’s boyfriend took her potato chips to eat, the woman became so angry that she tried to run him over with a car. Somehow the lover saved himself. After that the matter reached the court.

The incident is from Adelaide, Australia. Where a 42-year-old woman has been accused of trying to run over her partner after an argument over eating potato chips. The woman’s boyfriend has claimed that his partner ‘deliberately’ tried to run him over with his car after consuming a pair of chips, reports 9News.com.

‘Harrison deliberately tried to crush me’

Matthew Finn made the shocking claim at the Adelaide Magistrates Court against his partner, Charlotte Harrison. Finn told the court he was at the Subaru on 26 February, where he mistakenly asked for chips from Harrison’s Chicken and Salad pack. Finn said, “I thought she finished her chips, I asked her for chips and she got angry. She jerked me out of the car and then tried to run me over.”

At the same time, the woman (Harrison) rejected the allegations of the lover (Matthew Finn) outright and claimed that the incident was just an accident. She told the magistrates court that she was taking Finn to hospital when she was assaulted on the way.

At the same time, the boyfriend (Matthew Finn) alleged that when he got out of the car, he realized that Harrison’s car was coming towards him. During the court hearing, Harrison’s duty solicitor said that “Harrison had no intention of causing harm”. The solicitor said that while trying to take a U-turn on the road, the accelerator was accidentally pressed, due to which the car collided with another vehicle moving in the opposite direction.

Finn disagrees with the woman’s (Harrison) lawyer’s claim. He says that the woman (Harrison) tried to crush him deliberately. Thus during the hearing, Harrison was charged with endangering the lover’s life and reckless driving. He has now been ordered to be kept under house arrest till Friday. She will go back to the court on Friday to find out whether her bail application will be accepted.
