Comedian Shraddha eats dosa with UK Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt, see pic


UK Finance Minister With Aiyyo Shraddha: UK’s Finance Chancellor Jeremy Hunt arrived in India earlier this week to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meeting. The FMCBG meeting is currently underway in Bengaluru, which is scheduled to run from 24-25 February. Before attending the G20 FMCBG meeting, Jeremy Hunt met his Indian counterpart, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India.

The British finance minister also visited the company’s campus in Bengaluru along with Wipro company chairman Rishad Premji and met popular Instagram comedian Shraddha Jain for a chat about the India-UK partnership.

Ayyo meets Shraddha

UK’s Finance Minister shared pictures of Hunt during his visit to the Wipro campus. Where he was welcomed by Rishad Premji, chairman of Wipro. Hunt met with staff as well as senior leaders to discuss Britain’s position as a technology superpower. He also spoke to influencer and comedian Shraddha Jain, who goes by the name ‘Aiyo’ Shraddha on social media. UK’s Finance Minister Hunt enjoys Masala Dosa with Shraddha Jain.

Q&A session organized

The British Finance Minister and popular blogger chatted over a plate of Masala Dosa and Vada over a cup of tea. They organized a Q&A session, for which Shraddha had previously crowdsourced questions. Which will be released soon. This is Shraddha Jain’s second meeting with a high-profile leader this month. He had also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bengaluru on 13 February before this.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi India expressed hope on Friday (24 February) that the G20 would take inspiration from the Indian economy and work towards bringing back stability, trust and growth at the global level. In his video message to the G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors, the Prime Minister mentioned the need to strengthen multilateral development banks to address global challenges such as climate change and high debt levels.
