Meanwhile, the process of registration of crops has been started in many states under the Rabi marketing season, farmers who want to sell their crops at the minimum support price can apply on the official portal of the Agriculture Department of their respective states. . Madhya Pradesh government has also issued a notification in this matter. The Haryana government has also kept a deadline till January 31 for registration.

As per the rules, farmers of Haryana are being made aware for registration on Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal.
By getting your registration done here, it will be easy to take advantage of the facilities of subsidy, loan and grant being given by the government. The produce will be procured from the farmers registered with the state government at the minimum support price only. On the other hand, non-registered farmers will not be able to get the facility to sell crops at government prices.
Benefits will be available directly after registration
Dr. Ishwar Jakhar, Technical Officer, Haryana Agriculture Department told that till now many farmers have not registered themselves on Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal. To take advantage of the government scheme, a deadline has been kept for registering crops till 31 February.
Awareness campaigns are also being run to spread the news about this to the farmers. If the farmers want, they can also register themselves on this portal. After this, you can get payment directly into your account by selling the produce. In this way, it will be easy to take direct benefit of the subsidy scheme being given by the government.
Less than 50% farmers got the registration done
According to the media reports, despite issuing the notification, less than 50% farmers of Jhajjar district have got their registration done. Less than half the farmers of this district are registered, whereas 3 lakh 69 thousand 729 acres of land is being cultivated in the district.
Out of this, only 70,000 acres of land has been registered, which is not even 50% of the total sowing. It is being speculated that the farmers who do not get the registration done, may be deprived of government facilities.
