- bread 4 slices
- Mawa one cup
- a cup of milk
- sugar powder one cup
- coconut powder half cup
- cashew nuts 8
- almonds 8
- pistachios 8
- Cardamom powder 1 tsp
- a pinch of orange food color
- Ghee – for frying
How to make Mawa Roll
- To make Bread Mawa Roll, first take a pan and put half a cup of water in it and keep it on low flame to heat.
- After this, put sugar powder in water, now prepare its syrup. Turn off the gas when the sugar syrup sticks a little.
- Now take bread and remove its edge by cutting it.
- Now take another pan and keep it on medium flame, put mawa in it and roast it while stirring continuously.
- When the mawa is fried well, add food color to it and mix it well and turn off the gas flame.
- Now cut cashews, pistachios and almonds into small pieces, in the meantime, when the mawa cools down, add sugar, chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder to it and mix well.
- Now make balls of this mixture.
- Now take the pieces of bread and dip them in milk and squeeze the milk by pressing it with both the palms.
- Now fill the prepared balls of mawa in the middle of this bread and roll the bread by folding it all the way around.
- In the same way, prepare rolls of all the bread slices.
- Now put ghee in a pan and keep it on medium flame to heat.
- When the ghee becomes hot, put the mawa roll in it and deep fry till it turns golden in colour.
- After this, dip them in sugar syrup and keep them for 1 minute.
- Now after 1 minute, take out the roll from the sugar syrup and garnish it with grated coconut.
- Your bread mawa roll is ready, eat it yourself and serve it to guests
