Jammu and Kashmir Targeted Killing: Once again the incident of target killing has come to the fore in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists shot and killed a Kashmiri Pandit. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Sharma, who worked as a security guard. At the same time, on the incident of this target killing, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti attacked the BJP and said, ‘They are benefiting’.
Mehbooba Mufti said, these incidents are only benefiting BJP. Then whether such incidents happen in Jammu and Kashmir or in Haryana. The Bharatiya Janata Party has failed to protect the lives of the minorities. They only use minorities to show normalcy in the valley. Mufti further said, BJP uses such incidents to tarnish the image of Muslims in the country. I condemn this incident. This is not the behavior of Kashmiri people. All these works show the failures of the government.
Sanjay Sharma was going to market.
In fact, Sanjay Sharma was going to the market in Achan area of South Kashmir district on Sunday (February 26) when the terrorists attacked him. The terrorists fled from the spot after shooting Sanjay Sharma. Seriously injured Sanjay was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

DIG of Kashmir said…
On the incident, Kashmir’s DIG Rais Ahmed said, “The terrorist attack took place today at around 10:30 am. Minority Sanjay Sharma was going to the market with his wife when they were attacked.” The Jammu and Kashmir Police tweeted that the area has been cordoned off. A search operation is being conducted to nab the attackers.
