Fake Caste Certificate Case: A hearing was held in the court today in the Fake Cast Certificate case related to Amravati MP Navneet Rana. The court of Shivadi Metropolitan Magistrate has given a big blow to Navneet Rana and his father regarding the matter. MP Navneet Rana’s father Harbhajan Singh Kaur has been declared absconding by the Shivdi court. Along with this, a fine of Rs 1,000 has been imposed on Navneet and his father.
The court says that the property of Navneet Rana and his family can also be confiscated if they do not appear in the court within a month. At the same time, the next hearing of this case will be on 16 February. There is an allegation on Navneet Rana that he had given fake cast certificate in his election affidavit. There was a lot of controversy regarding this matter. An FIR has been registered regarding this at Mulund police station in Mumbai.
Bombay High Court canceled the certificate
In this case, the Bombay High Court had canceled the caste certificate of Navneet Rana in June 2021. The court had said during this time that this caste certificate was obtained fraudulently by using forged documents. The High Court had also imposed a fine of Rs 2 lakh on him.
Anandrao Adsul had filed a complaint
Former Shiv Sena MP Anandrao Adsul had lodged the first complaint against this fake certificate. There was a political ruckus about this for a long time and the issue of fake certificates also got a lot of air. In this case, action is going on against accused number-1 Navneet Rana and accused number 2 i.e. his father Harbhajan Singh Kundlesh. This matter against the MP came into limelight when he warned against reciting Hanuman Chalisa outside the house of former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
