Stock Market Opening: Trading has started with a fall in the stock market today and gap down opening has taken place even further than the fall seen on Friday. Today Bank Nifty is also trading with a fall of 229 points and has reached below 40,000. However, within 5 minutes of market opening, the decline in Sensex has been covered and recovery has been seen from lower levels.
Trading in green mark within 15 minutes of market opening
Sensex and Nifty have gained momentum within 15 minutes of market opening today. The Sensex has come up to 59,597.72 with a gain of 266.82 points i.e. 0.45 percent. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty is trading at 17,689.85 with a gain of 85.50 points i.e. 0.49 percent.
How did the market open today
At the beginning of the market today, the BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened at 59,101.69, down 229.21 points, or 0.39 per cent. NSE’s 50-share index Nifty opened at 17,541.95, down 62.40 points, or 0.35 per cent.

Market movement in pre-opening
Even in the pre-opening of the market, the decline in the market was visible. The BSE Sensex was trading at 59075.81, down 255.09 points, or 0.43 per cent. At the same time, the Nifty of NSE remained at the level of 17563.45 with a decline of 40.90 points i.e. 0.23 percent.
