Qari Fateh Abu Usman Al-Kashmiri Killed: The Taliban’s intelligence force has killed two prominent commanders of the Islamic State (IS) group in an operation in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. According to media reports, one of the slain terrorists was Qari Fateh, known as the intelligence chief and former war minister of the Islamic State-Khorasan Province (ISKP).
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has informed about the death of IS-K commander. Mujahid said Qari Fateh was reportedly the chief strategist for the ISKP, and was planning a number of attacks, including on the Russian, Pakistani and Chinese diplomatic missions in Kabul. Even before this, Kari Fateh had been involved in many terrorist activities.
According to Mujahid, Qari Fateh was killed in the operation, while his accomplice has been captured. This slain commander of the terrorist organization along with his associates has destroyed many mosques and Buddhist monasteries. The Taliban has directly said that if the attacks do not stop, action will be taken against the terrorists.
Terrorist hideouts are being eliminated
Significantly, the Talibani force is running a search operation to eliminate IS-K terrorist hideouts. In fact, since 2014 IS-K is active in terrorist activities in Afghanistan. Now the Taliban regime is considering it a big threat.
Dreaded terrorist Ejaz was also killed
Along with this, Zabihullah Mujahid in his statement also confirmed that he was killed along with Kashmir-born dreaded terrorist Ejaz Ahmad Ahangar alias Abu Usman al-Kashmiri. Ahangar was recently declared a terrorist by the Indian government on charges of having links with Al-Qaeda and other global terrorist groups and relaunching the Islamic State (IS) in the country.
In March 2020, Afghan intelligence identified Ahangar as the mastermind of the suicide bombing. Ejaz was reportedly appointed as the head of the Islamic State (IS) recruitment cell for India and was instrumental in launching an online India-centric ISIS propaganda magazine.
