Amalaki Ekadashi – Papmochini Ekadashi
In the month of March, fast will be observed on Amalaki Ekadashi of Falgun Shukla Paksha and Papmochini Ekadashi of Chaitra Krishna Paksha. Ekadashi fasting is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that on the day of Amalaki Ekadashi one attains salvation by worshiping the Indian gooseberry tree, whereas with the effect of fasting on Papmochini Ekadashi, the sins of 7 births of a person are washed away.
Holi 2023
Holika Dahan is done on Phalgun Purnima and Rangwali Holi is played on the next day i.e. Pratipada date of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month. The festival of Holika Dahan commemorates the victory of Shri Hari Bhakta Prahlad against Holika, the sister of Asuraraj Hiranyakashyap. The festival of Holi gives the message of filling the colors of happiness in the lives of the people. This festival is of brotherhood, affinity and love.

In Chaitra Navratri, 9 forms of Maa Durga are worshiped with rituals for 9 days. Ghatasthapana is done on Pratipada date and girl child is worshiped on Ashtami-Navami.
Ramadan 2023
The month of Ramadan is considered very sacred for the religion of Islam. People of Muslim religion fast for a month. This year the month of Ramadan is from 23 March 2023 to 21 April 2023. The festival of Eid will be celebrated on 22 April 2023.
