Tripura Assembly Election 2023: BJP has released two lists for Tripura assembly elections in a single day. With this, out of 60 seats in the state, the party has fielded candidates for 54 seats.
BJP has released the second list on Saturday (January 28) evening. Six people have been given tickets in this list. The party has given tickets to Vinod Debbarma from Simna seat, Tarit Debbarma from Mandaibazar, Ram Prasad Paul from Suryamaninagar, Vikash Debbarma from Krishnapur, Ashim Tripura from Karbuk and Braja Lal Tripura from Karamchara.
Who got the ticket?
BJP on Saturday (January 28) released the first list of 48 candidates for the upcoming elections to the Tripura Legislative Assembly. According to this list, Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik has been fielded from Dhanpur seat. Whereas Chief Minister Manik Saha has been given ticket from Town Bordowali. Former CM Biplab Kumar Deb’s name is not in the list, please tell that Bhowmik is a Union Minister. He is an MP from Tripura.
What was the result in the year 2018?
In the last assembly elections of the year 2018, the BJP formed the government in Tripura, which is considered a stronghold of the Left. Prior to that, the Communist Party of India-Marxist had ruled the state for 25 years. The BJP’s top leadership was in talks for a pre-poll alliance with Tipra Motha, a party led by Pradyot Deb Barman, a former Congress leader and scion of the erstwhile royal family of Tripura, but any such alliance has now been ruled out. At the same time, this time the CPI (M) is contesting the state elections in alliance with the Congress.

Let us inform that the Congress declared the names of 17 candidates for the Tripura elections on Saturday (January 28) itself. In this ticket was given to Prashant Sen Chowdhary from Mohanpur, Sista Mohan Das from Barjala, Sudip Roy Barman from Agartala, Ashish Kumar Saha from Town Bardovali and Ruby Gope from Kamalpur.
