Karnataka Bus Pee-Gate Case: Recently, the issue of alleged liquor scandal in Air India flight was in the limelight. The accused Shankar Mishra was also arrested in this case. Now a similar case has come to the fore from Karnataka. Here in a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus, a drunken man is accused of urinating on a woman’s seat. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) confirmed this on Thursday (February 23).
Giving information about the incident, KSRTC said, “On Wednesday (February 22) night in a bus going to Mangaluru, a drunken passenger urinated on a woman’s seat.” The accused did this act when the bus had stopped at a dhaba. The woman had also gone downstairs to have a snack. On his return, he caught the young man doing such an act.
The accused was dropped from the bus
According to the report of NDTV, the woman informed the bus driver and conductor. After which the accused was forcibly taken off the Vijaypur-Mangaluru bus and left near a hotel. The conductor and driver got the dirty seat cleaned and they also gave another seat to the woman. In a statement, the KSRTC clarified that the accused drunken man had not urinated on the woman and apologized for the incident.

The Karnataka State Road Transport further stated that the woman did not file a police complaint against the drunken passenger who urinated on her seat. This was the reason that the bus continued on its scheduled journey. One such case came to the fore earlier this year. Then a drunken passenger allegedly urinated on a woman in an Air India flight. The accused did not face any legal action in this incident. Whereas in November last year, a case was registered against the accused in a similar incident.

In November, a passenger named Shankar Mishra allegedly urinated on an elderly woman on an Air India flight from New York to New Delhi. The airline has banned the accused Shankar Mishra for four months. The accused was also arrested in this incident.
