Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Story Shooting: Actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have reached Kashmir to shoot a romantic song for Karan Johar’s film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Actor Singh reached Srinagar on Wednesday (March 1) amid tight security and straightaway left for Gulmarg to shoot the song, while Karan reached Kashmir a day earlier.
According to a local contact, the shooting of the song will also be done in Srinagar and Pahalgam areas. The team of ‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ will return from here on Thursday (March 9). Earlier, Johar had planned to shoot the song in Switzerland.
Why is shooting happening in Kashmir?
Johar did not shoot this song in Switzerland because he wanted to promote Kashmir tourism. This is because Bollywood people can visit Kashmir to shoot more films. Local contacts said that this is a big achievement for the tourism industry of Kashmir.

This is a love song. Karan Johar wants to recreate those moments which he had earlier sung during the shooting of the song ‘Ishq Wala Love’ from the 2012 film ‘Student Of The Year’. Alia Bhatt is staying in Gulmarg with her mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt. She has also brought her baby girl Raha with her.
Alia has earlier been to Kashmir for films like ‘Student Of The Year’, ‘Raazi’ and ‘Highway’, while Ranveer loves Kashmir and has come here for the first time. Let us tell you that the film ‘Rocky and Rani’s love story’ will hit the theaters on July 28, 2023.
