CBI Arrested Manish Sisodia: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s apprehension finally proved true. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was finally arrested by the CBI. Sisodia has been arrested by the CBI today i.e. on Sunday (February 26) evening. Now on Monday (February 27) morning, his medical checkup will be done and presented in the court. CBI will demand from the court to send Sisodia to custody for questioning.
On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that apart from Sisodia, many other big leaders of the party have been arrested. These include Minister Gopal Rai in Delhi Government, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, MLA Rohit Kumar Mahrulia and Sangam Vihar MLA Dinesh Mohania. This claim has been made by Sanjay Singh himself. Sanjay Singh also tweeted and claimed, “Delhi Police has arrested me, Minister Gopal Rai ji, MLAs Rituraj Jha, Dinesh Mohania, Rohit Mehraulia, Adil Khan along with many councilors and workers at Fatehpur Beri police station. ” He further wrote in his tweet, “Neither will we fear, nor will we bow, we will fight.” Let us inform that all these leaders were opposing the CBI inquiry of Sisodia and sat on a dharna near the CBI headquarters.

Delhi Police issued a statement
Delhi Police has denied the claim of AAP MP Sanjay Singh. The Delhi Police issued a statement saying, “No arrests so far.” The police further said, “No one will be allowed to disturb the law and order. Depending on the situation, they can be kept in custody for 24 hours.” DCP South said, “There is no arrest.”
