Congress Demanding Security For Bharat Jodo Yatra: During the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Banihal, Jammu and Kashmir, a major lapse came to light in the security of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Congress had also shared a video regarding this. Now Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the issue of lapse in security. In this letter, he has demanded to increase the security. He says that in the coming days more and more people are going to be a part of Bharat Jodo Yatra. In such a situation, they demand that the Center should personally intervene in this matter.

Let us tell you that even before this, cases of lapse in security had come to the fore during the Bharat Jodo Yatra twice in a single day in Punjab. However, then Rahul Gandhi refused to accept it as a lapse in security. He said that the enthusiasm of the people who came for the yatra cannot be called a lapse in security. But this time the Congress itself has demanded better security. The Congress had also shared a video in which instead of the police, Congress workers were seen holding ropes to protect them.

demand for better security

Mallikarjun Kharge said in a letter to Amit Shah that a large number of people are participating in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. It is a question of the security of the people of the country. However, he lauded the Jammu and Kashmir Police and said that he would continue to ensure complete security as long as the yatra is to be held in the state. He said that a large number of people are expected to participate in the yatra in the next two days. There may also be a crowd in the ceremony to be held in Srinagar on 30 January. In such a situation, strict security should be given for the journey.
