Emergency landing of Air India flight coming to Delhi in Sweden, 300 passengers were on board


Air India Emergency landing: Due to a technical fault, an Air India flight from America to Delhi made an emergency landing at Stockholm airport. At the time of landing, there were 300 passengers in the flight. All are being told safe. However, to avoid any kind of accident, the fire brigade team was already deployed at the airport.

A senior Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) official told that after the oil leak, the engine was shut down and later the flight landed safely in Stockholm. The official said that during the ground inspection, oil was seen coming out of the drain mast of the second engine.

Earlier on Monday (February 20), an Air India flight going from New York to Delhi was diverted to London due to a medical emergency.
