Experts say that the effect of the central government’s decision to reduce the rate of wheat will be seen on the prices of other commodities. But now, due to the cheap price of wheat, there can be an improvement in the price of products made from wheat.

On the other hand, a committee was formed to monitor the crop.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature in Gujarat, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand may be higher than normal. A committee has been constituted to monitor the wheat crop in these states. The committee of the Ministry of Agriculture will advise the farmers to do less irrigation. The chairmanship of the committee has been handed over to Agriculture Commissioner Dr. Praveen. Other members of the committee will also include representatives of wheat producing states. The production of wheat in the year 2022-23 season from July to June is estimated to be 112.2 million tonnes. Last year, the productivity of wheat decreased due to heat wave. The production of wheat in the country was only 107.7 million tonnes. This time the heat should not affect the wheat. All out efforts are being made for this.
