Maharashtra Budget Session: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Saroj Ahire on Monday grabbed attention when she arrived in Mumbai carrying her four-month-old son to attend the budget session of the Maharashtra Legislature.

In December last year, during the winter session of the Legislature in Nagpur, Ahire had reached with her son. During that time she had said, she had also said, I have become a mother now but with this I have come to the assembly to seek answers to the questions of my voters. During this, she had also said that she would like to bring her child home daily so that she can take care of her child along with work.

At the same time, an official of Vidhan Bhavan said, “There is a hirkani unit in Vidhan Bhavan, which can be used by women to breastfeed their babies. The provision is for all working women.”

However, Ahire complained of dust in one Hirkani room. Talking to reporters in the Legislature Complex, he said, “I hope the authorities will ensure the cleanliness of these chambers.” Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Jaykumar Gore reached Vidhan Bhawan with the help of a walker to attend the budget session. He was injured in a car accident in December 2022. In the past, the then Finance Minister of Maharashtra Jayant Patil has presented the budget in the House sitting on a wheelchair.

On the other hand, Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Jaikumar Gore, who was injured in a road accident in December 2022, arrived today with the help of a walker to participate in the budget session. At the same time, the then Finance Minister of the state Jayant Patil had presented the budget in the House sitting on a wheelchair.
