Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated on Wednesday (22 February) that Chinese leader Xi Jinping would visit Moscow in the coming months. Welcoming China’s top diplomat Wang Yi in the Kremlin, Putin said that Jinping’s visit is awaited. An agreement has been reached between both the parties.
Russia started the attack on Ukraine on February 24 last year, after which the war between the two countries is still going on.
Signs of Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia

When will Jinping visit Russia?
Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to visit Russia in April or early March, when the country will be celebrating its World War II victory over Germany. The news of Xi Jinping’s possible visit to Russia is worrying for America. The US State Department said on Wednesday (February 22) that it is concerned about greater coordination between China and Russia.
China-Russia rapprochement increases US concern?
Earlier, Washington had said that China is considering providing weapons for Russia’s war in Ukraine. This would turn the conflict into a confrontation between Russia and China on the one hand and Ukraine and the US-led NATO military alliance on the other. The President of Ukraine had also warned that if China openly supports Russia, then the third world war can happen.
Chinese diplomats reached Russia
China’s top diplomat Wang Yi reached Moscow on Tuesday.
