Sukesh Chandrashekhar letter to LG: Mahathug Sukesh Chandrasekhar, lodged in Delhi’s Mandoli Jail, has written a letter to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. Sukesh has accused jail officers Deepak Sharma and Jai Singh of leaking CCTV footage of the jail ward. Sukesh has told the Lieutenant Governor that action should be taken against these officers, as the leaking of CCTV footage is a breach in security.

According to media reports, in a letter to the LG, Sukesh also accused Deepak Sharma and Jai Singh of mentally torturing him. Sukesh said in the letter that Deepak Sharma and Jai Singh called him the day after the raid and said, “You exposed Satyendar Jain, now it’s your turn. How are you treated for telling this to the world.”

The video of the raid went viral

A few days ago a CCTV footage of Sukesh Chandrasekhar went viral on social media. In this video, Sukesh was seen crying inside the jail during the raid. During the raid, branded slippers worth Rs 1.5 lakh and two jeans worth Rs 80 thousand were also found from Sukesh’s cell. The video surfaced on 23 February and on 27 February Sukesh handed over the complaint against Deepak Sharma and Jai Singh to his lawyer Anant Kaushik. This complaint has now been sent to the LG.

200 crore fraud case

Delhi Police had arrested Sukesh Chandrasekhar some time back in the 200 crore fraud case. Earlier Sukesh was kept in Tihar Jail, but was later transferred to Mandoli Jail. On February 16, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Sukesh in a new case. This arrest has been made in the case of cheating former promoter of Religare Enterprises Limited Malvinder Singh wife Aditi Singh. It is alleged that Sukesh had cheated Aditi Singh of Rs 3.5 crore.
