However, this is not the first time, even before this Tariq Fateh has received death threats. Canadian writers keep giving controversial statements against Islamic fundamentalism and Pakistan. It may be known that in the year 2017, a Muslim organization of Bareilly had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to the person who beheaded Tariq Fateh.

According to media reports, the All India Faizan-e-Madina Council had issued a fatwa against Tariq Fateh. Council President Moin Siddiqui alleged during this time that Tariq Fateh was conspiring to break Hindu-Muslim harmony. They are doing the work of spewing venom by sitting on TV channels, due to which hatred is spreading in the society.
