The biggest decrease in youth

The deficiency of this vitamin was seen most in the youth. Vitamin D deficiency was found in 84 percent youth up to 25 years. While such a situation was seen in 81 percent of people in the 25-40 age group.

According to the survey, it has come to the fore that the deficiency of Vitamin-D has increased further in the lockdown caused by Kovid. At the same time, experts say that the reason for the lack of Vitamin-D in the body of the people is due to the lockdown as well as pollution and the inclusion of junk food in the diet. Most of the youth do not eat nutritious food.

Dr. Rajeev said that Vitamin D is commonly known as the vitamin obtained from sunlight. This is also because this vitamin is made by the rays of the sun on the skin of our body. It helps the body to digest calcium and phosphate which keep bones, teeth and muscles strong and healthy.

According to Dr. Rajeev, Vitamin D is mainly available from sunlight only. But even after this, people of India and many African countries are most affected by Vitamin D deficiency. One reason for this is the diet of the people here.

Tablets or supplements can also be taken for adequate amount of Vitamin D in the body. However, it becomes so expensive that the large population of India will not be able to buy and eat it always.

According to bone doctor Mohit Yadav, “It is a bit difficult to remove the deficiency of vitamin D in our body through food. Talking about diet, this vitamin is found in the yellow part of the egg and fish. Therefore, its The best way to prevent deficiency is to walk in the sun with minimal clothing and take an oral supplement of vitamin-D.”
