Russia Ukraine War: The Russia-Ukraine war completed one year on Friday (February 24), but even now both the countries are holding a front against each other. During the war, both the countries suffered huge loss of life and property. Ukraine got a lot of cooperation from the western countries under the leadership of America. On the other hand, China supported Russia.
In the special session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) called for the Ukraine crisis, China targeted the countries that helped Ukraine. Along with this, warned about nuclear war. China said that sending weapons will not bring peace, proof of this has been found in one year of war. Let us tell you that just a few days ago the United States and NATO warned Beijing against giving military support to Russia.
Nuclear war cannot be fought: China
During this, China said that the Ukraine crisis is still increasing. We are very concerned about this. The sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries must be respected. Nuclear weapons cannot be used, nuclear war cannot be fought.
China rejected these allegations
It goes on to say that since the invasion of Russia, western countries have provided weapons worth billions of dollars to Ukraine. Also, the United States and NATO last week accused China of considering supplying arms to Russia and warned Beijing against such a move. However, China has rejected the allegations.
China’s deputy ambassador to the UN, Dai Bing, while targeting Western countries, said that sending weapons to Ukraine will not bring peace. It is like adding fuel to the fire and it will only add to the tension. He said that by prolonging the struggle, the common people will have to pay even more heavily. The international community should initiate peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. We reiterate once again that the crisis can be resolved only through diplomacy and dialogue.
