Azerbaijan’s Embassy Head Of Security Died: The Embassy of Azerbaijan was attacked on Friday in Tehran, the capital of Iran. During this attack, a man carried out the attack with a Kalashnikov style rifle. In this incident, the security chief posted on a diplomatic post in the Azerbaijan Embassy was killed, while two guards were injured. This information was given by the officials of Azerbaijan. According to officials, at present no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, nor is the motive behind it clear.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has condemned this attack by tweeting. President Ilham Aliyev said тАЬWe strongly condemn the terrorist attack on our embassy in Tehran today. I express my deepest condolences to the family of First Lieutenant Orkhan Rizvan oglu Asgarov, who sacrificed his life to save the embassy and its staff. Gave my life.”

Iranian media did not give information immediately
A video purportedly from the scene of the attack on the Azerbaijan embassy in Tehran shows a body lying near a metal detector inside the embassy. Iran’s state media did not give any immediate news regarding the attack. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that “the attack is currently being investigated.”
According to the statement, the attacker also destroyed a security post by firing. The northwestern border of Azerbaijan borders with Iran. There has been tension between the two countries (Iran and Azerbaijan) since the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Iran launched a military exercise near the Azerbaijan border in October amid nationwide protests that rocked the Islamic republic. Moreover, Azerbaijan has close ties with Israel, which Tehran sees as one of its main enemies in the region.
Actually Azerbaijan is closer to Israel than Iran. Actually Israel and Azerbaijan have diplomatic relations since 1992. These relations were established in Azerbaijan and Israel only six months after the declaration of independence from the Soviet Union. The reason for this is that both these countries have the same objective. These two countries are together for the purpose of keeping an eye on Iran and political Islam.
