Tamil Nadu: Political uproar continues in Tamil Nadu over the alleged attack on laborers from Bihar. Meanwhile, the Stalin government said on Friday (March 3) evening that the news that workers from North India are being attacked at some places in Tamil Nadu with very bad intentions is false.
Tamil Nadu Labor Welfare Development Minister CV Ganesan has issued a statement. He said that action will be taken against those who spread confusion on social media. He said that there is no danger to the workers in the state.
The Tamil Nadu government said, “The workers of many states are making a big contribution to the development. A large number of workers from the northern state are involved in important sectors including bridge construction and metro rail and are contributing to the development of those sectors. The concerned companies are providing all necessary facilities to their workers.

On the other hand, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that a team of senior officials is being sent to Tamil Nadu on Friday (February 3) to investigate the allegations of attacks on migrants. According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, Nitish Kumar held a high-level review meeting with the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police regarding the alleged attack on the people of Bihar in Tamil Nadu.
It was decided in the meeting that a team of senior state officials including senior police officers would visit the affected areas of Tamil Nadu from where such reports have been received.

What did Nitish Kumar say?
Nitish Kumar tweeted, “I have come to know about the attack on laborers of Bihar working in Tamil Nadu through newspapers. I have instructed the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police of Bihar to talk to the officials of the Tamil Nadu government and ensure the safety of the workers of the state living there.
