Shaligram Stone: Ram temple is getting ready in Ayodhya, it is expected that the temple will be ready by the year 2024. Two Shaligram rocks are being brought from Nepal to install the idols of Lord Rama and Mother Sita in the temple. It is being claimed about these rocks that they are about 60 million years old. However, whether the idol made of these will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple or in the premises, it has not been confirmed yet.
Kali Gandaki flowing in Pokhara, Nepal, which is also known as Shaligrami river, two stones are being brought from here. After worshiping here, the stones are being brought to Ayodhya by road by loading them on trucks. According to the information, the weight of one rock is 26 tonnes and that of the other rock is 14 tonnes.
Shila may come to Ayodhya on February 2
Both the rocks of Shaligram were loaded on 26 January, which can reach Ayodhya by 2 February. Trustee of Ram Mandir Trust Kameshwar Chaupal said, “We have just been asked to bring the stones to Ayodhya. The trust will do its work after the stones reach Ayodhya. These two stones extracted from the Shaligrami river are said to be about 60 million years old. Huh.”

Kameshwar Chaupal said that religious rituals were performed before removing these stones from the river bank. Forgiveness was sought from the river, special worship was done for it. Rudrabhishek of Shila has been done in Galeshwar Mahadev temple. Please tell that the Shaligrami river flowing in Nepal is called Narayani river after entering India. Whereas in India it is known as Budhi Gandaki in government papers.
The black stones of Shaligrami river are worshiped in the form of Lord Shaligram. It is believed that the stone of Shaligram is found only in the Shaligrami river in the whole world. It does not come and joins the river Ganga in Sonepur, Bihar. A group of about 100 people is going along with both the rocks. Arrangements have been made for them to rest at different places.
