Rashtrapati Mughal Gardens Now Amrit Udyan: President Draupadi Murmu has decided to rename the Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan as ‘Amrit Udyan’. Rashtrapati Bhavan has announced this decision on the occasion of ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav’ being run on the completion of 75 years of independence.
According to the information received from Rashtrapati Bhavan, yesterday (on January 29) the President himself Draupadi Murmu Will observe all the gardens present in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Let us inform that there are a total of 5 gardens or gardens in the Rashtrapati Bhavan, one of which was known as the Mughal Garden. Now the President has decided to name these five gardens as ‘Amrit Garden’. These gardens include ‘Herbal Garden’, ‘Bonjai Garden’, ‘Center Lawn’, ‘Long Garden’ and ‘Circular Garden’ which will now be known as Amrit Udyan.
Amrit Udyan will open for common people from this day
All these gardens are being opened from January 31 for the common people to visit. In a statement issued from Rashtrapati Bhavan, it has been told that it has been decided to keep the garden open for the common people from January 31 to March 26. During this, the garden will remain closed on every Monday and on March 8 on the day of Holi. The garden will be open for people to visit from 10 am to 4 pm.
The garden will open for these people even after the last date
A special thing this year is that after the garden was closed for the common people to visit on March 26, special arrangements were made by Rashtrapati Bhavan to open it one day each for farmers, jawans, Divyangjans and women. Is. Amrit Udyan will be opened exclusively for farmers on March 28, for Divyangjan on March 29, for army, paramilitary and police personnel on March 30 and for women on March 31.
